A total of Eighty-eight (88) violent incidents were recorded across Ghana in July 2026. Of these, Physical violence contributed 42 incidents (48%). There were 26 (30%) cases of Gun violence while Political related incidents comprised 6 incidents (7%). There were 5 (6%) incidents of Economic Violence and 4 (5%) cases of Sexual Violence. Three (3) incidents of Social Violence and 2 incidents of Psychological Violence was recorded during the period. Regionally, the Ashanti Region recorded the highest number of incidents, with 24 cases. This is closely followed by the Greater Accra Region with 18 cases and Eastern Region recording 17 cases. Central Region recorded 7 cases. Western North and Northern Regions recorded 4 cases each whiles Bono East, Volta and Oti Regions recorded 3 cases each. There were 2 cases each in the Western Region. The Ahafo, Savannah and Bono Regions recorded 1 incident each. There were no reported incidents in the Upper East, Upper West and North East Regions
