A total of fifty-six (56) violent incidents were recorded across Ghana in October 2025. Of these, Physical violence accounted for 25 incidents (45%), while gun related incidents comprised 20 incidents (36%). There were 7 (13%) cases of Economic violence. There were 2 incidents each for sexual and psychological forms of violence, reflecting a diverse typology of harm recorded. Regionally, the Ashanti Region recorded the highest number of incidents, with 14 cases, followed closely by the Greater Accra Region with 10 incidents each. Two regions including Central and Eastern also recorded 7 incidents each whiles North East and Western regions recorded 6 and 5 incidents respectively. Upper East, Bono, Savannah and Volta recorded at least 1 incident each. There were no cases in 6 regions
including Bono East, Northern, Western North, Upper West, Ahafo and Oti Regions This geographic spread underscore the pervasive nature of violence across the country, with concentrations in urban and peri-urban regions suggesting potential hotspots for targeted intervention and preventive programming
