FOSDA participated in a two-day CSO Youth Chapter Dialogue to examine the work and recommendations of the Constitution Review Committee (CRC) on Ghana’s 1992 Constitution and to strengthen youth participation in National Governance conversations.

The workshop convened in Koforidua by the Ghana Center for Democratic Development (CDD), STAR-Ghana Foundation, Democracy Hub and the Citizens Platform for Constitutional Reform brought together young civil society leaders to engage with Ghana’s ongoing Constitutional Reform process.
FOSDA’s representative on the Youth and Security Committee of the Constitutional Reform Coalition contributed on key reform areas across nine thematic pillars, including Effective Governance, People-centered Democracy, Sustainable Resource Management, Institutional Accountability, Decentralization, and Safeguarding Democratic Peace. Of particular relevance to FOSDA’s work were conversations on Election-related Violence, Early Warning Mechanisms, and strengthening Security Sector Accountability to sustain Ghana’s Democratic Stability.
