A total of sixty-nine (69) violent incidents were recorded across Ghana in February 2026. Of these, Physical violence accounted for 25 incidents (36%). There were 16 (23%) cases of Economic violence while Gun related incidents comprised 15 incidents (22%). There were 6 (9%) incidents of Social Violence and 4 (6%)cases of Sexual Violence. Psychological incidents contributed 3 (4%) cases. There were no Political violent incidents recorded during the period.

Regionally, the Greater Accra Regions recorded the highest number of incidents, with 21 cases. This is followed by the Ashanti Region and Central Region with 11 and 10 cases respectively. There were 6 cases in the Northern Region and 5 cases in the Eastern Region. Oti region recorded 4 cases wheras Volta region

recorded 3 cases. Three regions including Bono, Upper West and Western Regions recorded 2 cases each. Another three regions including Upper East, Bono East and Western North recorded 1 incident each. There were no cases in the Savannah, North East and Ahafo Regions.
