FOSDA has called for intentionality of national frameworks such as the Ghana National Action Plan (GHANAP-2) on UNSCR 1325 to promote women’s inclusion in electoral processes. According to FOSDA, any deliberate attention given to GHANAP 2 will significantly contribute to the implementation of the Affirmative Action Law. The call was made by FOSDA’s Executive Director Theodora Williams Anti at the The National Peace Council (NPC) three-day Post 2024 Election Evaluation Dialogue at Koforidua.

The dialogue was on the theme: “Dialoguing for a Stronger Democracy and Social Cohesion” was co-funded by the European Union, the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The programme focused on evaluating the conduct of the 2024 general elections, aims at drawing lessons and identifying reform pathways for more peaceful and credible future elections.
FOSDA was represented by Executive Director (Theodora Willams Anti) and Ag. Programmes Manager (Solomon Okai)
