On 29th August 2023, FOSDA participated in a Research Dissemination on Gender Responsive Education in Ghana organised by the Africa Education Watch (EDUWATCH).
In partnership with OXFAM, EDUWATCH is implementing the strategic partnership 2 project aimed at ensuring the government of Ghana inproves investment in public basic education to promote access and equitable quality education for all learners. The research presented a picture of gender responsive education in Ghana and the challenges thereof.
Participants at the meeting had the opportunity to discuss the report and make recommendations to address issues identified. FOSDA was represented by Ms. Dorothy Barnes, program officer for Gender and WPS.
