FOSDA in collaboration with Africa Education Watch and YEFL-Ghana are currently in Kumasi facilitating a 2 day training workshop on Gender Transformative Education (GTE). The workshop is training 30 young people from Greater Accra, Ashanti and Northern zone as advocacy teams. They will monitor their respective education systems, question inherent challenges that affect the full participation of boys and girls in the education process and engage duty bearers on social structures and norms, particularly harmful gender stereotypes and unequal gender and power relations that drives gender injustice in society.
