ABOUT WOMEN MEDIATORS NETWORK - GHANA

The Women Mediators Network - Ghana (WoMNet - Gh) was established in 2022 to address the need for enhancing the technical expertise of women peacebuilders in Ghana. The focus of this network is on areas such as conflict mediation, negotiation, Prevention, early warning mechanisms, and community peacebuilding, as well as mentoring.

AIMS

The primary goal of WoMNet-Gh is to support women's inclusion in peace building activities and processes. This support is mainly achieved through capacity building, mobilisation, advocacy and practical operational contributions.

OBJECTIVES

1. To promote peacebuilding and address conflict situations 2. To enhance technical expertise of women in peacebuilding 3. To promote diversity and inclusion in peacebuilding processes 4. To facilitate global affiliation and connection 5. To enhance advocacy and operational support for gender sensitive peacebuilding operations
