FOSDA is an equal-opportunity organization dedicated to the advancement of human rights, social justice, and gender equality. As a result, empowering women and girls has been FOSDA's passion over the years. The Foundation has mobilized women, young women and girls across Ghana through capacity building and mentoring programs. By applying feminist principles in our program implementation and work, The Foundation has supported females in a variety of areas over the years through empowerment and capacity building trainings in Leadership, Advocacy and Lobbying, Public Speaking as well as Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution. Our priority areas include:

The goal is to advance Gender Equality and Inclusion within Africa through our programming and staff development. FOSDA intends to strengthen knowledge in and expertise for mainstreaming gender considerations in policy-making, programme planning and implementation as well as in African leadership.
