Fosda

Domestic Revenue Mobilization Through Citizen Engagement

Since its establishment, FOSDA has been dedicated to addressing the challenges of Human Security. This focus is guided by a 5-year strategic plan (2021-2025) that provides a blue print for every activity that is undertaken. The strategy is thus focused primarily on Youth Development (GYDEP); Governance (DRM) and Women, Peace and Security (WPS).

Domestic Revenue Mobilization

Ghana?s tax collection is low compared with other lower-middle-income countries in the sub-region. Non-compliance with tax payments is a major issue in Ghana and has reflected in the widening fiscal deficit and a rising debt burden.
