This Survey Report for the Ghana Youth Manifesto for Election 2024 and beyond seeks
among other things to amplify the voices of the Ghanaian youth as active and influential
stakeholders in the civic, democratic and socio-economic spaces in Ghana. It aims to generate
new knowledge to influence political parties’ manifesto ahead of election 2024; serve as a
reference point for advocacy and monitoring of youth development issues; and promote the
adoption and integration of the youth manifesto into the district assembly’s medium-term
development plans.
The survey adopts the qualitative style with a total of 3565 respondents across all the sixteen
(16) regions of Ghana. This was complemented by six (6) thematic Focus Groups Discussion
(FGDs) and a validation workshop in Accra.
