Fosda Calls for Peace in Kumawu by-elections

Advancing Human Security Since 2001

Fosda is calling on all stakeholders to conduct themselves peacefully in the upcoming kumawu by-elections scheduled for tomorrow 23 may 2023.
We call particularly on the two main political parties, NPP and NDC to use peaceful means to address issues and avoid violence at all cost.
We also call on the relevant state institutions including the security forces and the electoral commission to exhibit highest form of professionalism in the execution of their duties to engender trust in the électoral processes. We call on the general voter population of kumawu to choose peace over violence and any other parochial interests. We must all endeavour to avoid another Ayawaso West Wuogon situation.
